FAMILY PORTRAITS
Now that you know how to draw a portrait, try drawing someone in your family using the same techniques you learned in class.
You can use any art tool you have at home (crayons, colored pencils etc.) or you can use Sketches School. Use more than one art tool
on the app.

Remember what you learned about proportion.
The eyes are about half way down your head. Your ears are as big as the distance between your eye and nose. Watch this great tutorial on proportion.

Take your time and try to make it better than your first (self portrait at school). Concentrate on the eyes - make sure they are big enough. Use your tools to show texture in the hair. Show different skin tones in the skin.
Choose a positive word to describe your family member and add it to the left in block or bubble letters. Have fun with this, but take your time.
