Dia de los Muertos - 4th

Students learned about the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and how it is a beautiful, family tradition dating back to the Aztecs. 4th grade is creating printing plates with a geometric aztec design on styrofoam, add the "calaveras" and some embellishments. This has been a long, but FUN project for them.
