Fifth Grade Half Self Portraits

5th grade dove right into a challenging project where they had to draw half of their face and chose one positive adjective to describe themselves. It was a little hard for them at first, but they worked through it and I was so proud of the level of work they produced at the end of the project. They used crayons to color in while discussing shading and layering. They were very proud of their work when they were finished.
