Rainbow Messages
In Italy (where they had a lot of sick people from Coronovirus), people were putting pictures/paintings of rainbows in their windows to show images of hope to their neighbor. They also wrote the expression "Vamos Todos Ficar Bem" which is Italian for "Let's All Be Well."
This project is both for Earth Day and to send messages of hope around town for your friends and neighbors.
Gather your supplies:
- paper
- something to add color: paint, markers, crayons, colored pencils
You can sketch a rainbow first if you'd like, or you can just start painting.
Remember the colors of the rainbow:
You can also print this
to color if you'd like
red orange yellow green blue indigo violet
Add details like some clouds, or outline your colors
Add your text either in Italian or English
Hang your masterpiece in your window for everyone to see!
